Stillness Powered Reiki

Owen is a Reiki Master trained in both Western (Takata) & Eastern Reiki.  See here for an explanation of the differences. He is a member of the Association of Australian Reiki Professionals (Aust Reiki Connection (ARC). This guarantees that he is trained to a high standard in, and provides, original Reiki and not an imitation. ARC verify lineage, training and also current insurance and first aid requirements are met. 

Owen's Stillness centred, intuition powered, Reiki is simple and effective like the Eastern Reiki from Japan in the 1920-30s. On arrival you are welcomed and shown into the minimalist studio. The late Dr Ainslie Meares was an internationally recognised for his work in medical hypnotism, healing and Stillness Meditation teaching. Meares believed women and men were equal but different including use of ethical touch (eg. IJCEH 1968).  Many early Reiki providers were male but today that has dropped to less than 5 pc and familiarity with this different energetic touch has declined. Owen uses intuition and the standard Reiki hand positions through the clothing you choose to wear on the day (a blanket can also be draped over clothing for warmth and privacy). For sensitive people, hands reach out a few inches above the body, but don't touch. Your unique needs are best discussed with Owen, so adjustments and enhancements help your Stillness powered Reiki experience to unfold. Reiki is a holistic experience, the details of which remain sacred and secret. When all is said and done, Reiki is best experienced for one's self rather than read about on a website or in a book. 

Reiki Treatment Sessions ($100/hr) may be booked mainly Tues-Thurs.
