Owen's Reiki Credentials
Owen is a Reiki Master trained in both Western (Takata) & Eastern Reiki. See here for an explannation of the differences.
He is a Member of the Association of Australian Reiki Professionals (Aust Reiki Connection). In order to maintain a high standard the Association checks applicants against criteria. Owen's membership guarantees :-
you are receiving original Reiki and not cheap imitations or additions. His Reiki lineage has been verified genuine by the Association who have checked it all the way back to to the founder of Reiki, USUI Makao.
ALL his Reiki training meets the high standards and quality required by this major Australian Reiki Association. His Reiki protocols and Reiki training has been checked and accepted by the Association. Sadly, there are some teachers and healers who are not recognised by the Association and don't tell people that.
NB: At present, Owen offers Reiki touch therapy but is not accepting new Reiki Students for training.
he carries Insurance. Owen has to produce his new insurance certificate to the Association each time the old one expires.
he has current first aid training. The Association has checked his training in CPR and first aid at the required intervals. He has to produce evidence of training at required intervals too.
he complies with the National Code of Conduct for Healthcare Workers and as re-written into Victorian law. This includes that he explains the Code and complaint protocol to each student and provides them a copy.

Copies of Owens training, insurance etc can be sighted on request by clients attending Owen's studio. The Australian Reiki Connection website outlines membership requirements. That site is currently being upgraded.
Owen is also trained to professional level in Chi Activation and Pellowah. Both modalities were developed independently by two of Australia's eminent Reiki Master Teachers. Owen thinks of these two modalities as being a bit like post-graduate Reiki training. There is desirable transfer of training to the benefit of Owen's Reiki and his clients.
